Each month, I choose a theme inspired by the traditions, culture, or seasons of Japan and explore it through Tokyo. I take a photo and hand draw a little frog named Hop into the scene, turning it into a postcard. Then I sketch little details from my experience and share what I discovered, so you can learn a little more about Japan along the way.
Every envelope includes:

Why hasn't my letter been shipped yet? Letters are shipped during the first week of each month. Example: If you sign up any time in July, your letter will ship during the first week of August.
When will I receive my letter? Can I track it? Hop's letters are sent via regular untracked mail during the first week of each month. Letters typically take 2–4 weeks to arrive depending on your location. If your letter hasn't arrived within 6 weeks of shipping, please reach out at hello@unlocktokyo.com.
